Cookie Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Weporta ("Weporta", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the website recognise your browser on later requests, for example to keep you signed in. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way.

2. The Cookies We Use

We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the platform to work and cannot be switched off. They do not require your consent.

  • Sign-in cookies (names beginning with "sb-"): set by our authentication provider, Supabase, when you sign in. They keep you signed in securely as you move between pages and are removed when you sign out.
  • Cookie choice (weporta_analytics_consent): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask you on every visit. It lasts for one year.

Analytics cookies

These are set only if you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you decline, or have not yet chosen, the analytics software is not loaded at all.

  • PostHog cookie (name beginning with "ph_"): helps us understand which pages and features are used, so we can improve the platform. We do not attach your name, email address or other directly identifying details to these events.

3. Similar Technologies

To let you keep recording supply information without an internet connection, the platform saves your unsent work in your browser's local storage on your device and sends it to our servers once you are back online. This is part of the service you asked for and is not used for tracking.

We also measure page loading speed using Vercel Speed Insights, which does not use cookies, and we record technical details of errors through Sentry so we can fix them. Both are described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Managing Cookies

You can accept or decline analytics cookies when the cookie banner appears. To change your choice later, delete the weporta_analytics_consent cookie (or all cookies for this site) in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the platform.

5. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if we change the cookies we use. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. If we want to use a new type of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first.

6. Contact Us

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, email us at contact@weporta.com or use the Contact page on our website.
